Salah Extends Regret to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the team after the controversy from his televised remarks.
What Happened
The striker was dropped from a European match after voicing frustrations and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere stayed normal. “He was his usual self, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” Jones added.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “It's clear there are different methods you can go about things,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Team Form
The team's performance have remained strong in the games following the initial controversy. He feels the outburst were not intended to harm the team.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a desire to win,” he finished. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, getting results and on a positive run.”
